We are happy to share the article and the cover that Detergo, a specialized magazine for industrial laundry and dry cleaning, dedicated to Macpi.

The article explores the history of the company and the news that will be presented during Expo Detergo 2022.

First of all, the 291 shirt ironing machine organized in four work stations (loading – steaming – blowing – automatic unloading), this machine returns perfectly finished garments without creases, considerably simplifying the work of the employees.
Following are presented models for trouser ironing without pleats 320 and for trouser pressing with pleats model 553.
Finally, Detergo focuses on the pluses of Macpi’s 534 finishing tunnel with its innovative ventilation chamber with radial system and proportional air flow that reduces the risk of garments falling from the hanger during drying.

Automatic unit 320 for Macpi trouser ironing: all the pluses

Perfect for ironing a wide variety of models and fabrics – denim, dockers, shorts, pajamas, sports trousers -, the machine significantly optimizes times and results: it allows you to load 1 trousers every 8 seconds, which projected on a shift of work means 3,600 items in 8 hours, all with a single operator!

Among the most important technical features we remember:

• Automatic recognition of the size of the trousers;
• Powerful blowing to reduce the processing cycle;
• Steaming and blowing even during rotation, for better quality and a net reduction in processing times;
• Automatic unloading with programmable quantities (one article or creation of packs);
• Possibility of ironing on the flap and front pockets;
• Touch Screen TC7 7 ” with customization of functions and up to 20 finishing programs.

A combination of technology, flexibility and customization

From the construction point of view, the machine is equipped with 4 steaming and blowing stations mounted on a rotating table, a trolley for leg tension with mechanical adjustment to be able to iron both short / baby trousers and maximum sizes for men and pneumatic adjustment of the leg and pelvis tension with position lock sensor. Among the other adjustments available we find those for the steaming and blowing flow rate and for the pressure on the bottom of the trousers of the pliers, which are adjustable and oscillating.
The electronic programming of steaming times, the delay of blowing, blowing and early opening of the pliers is very important for the purposes of monitoring and optimizing consumption. The whole is completed by the highly precise automated piece counting system.

Macpi’s new trouser ironing topper inherits the most important features of the well-known 321 unfolded trouser ironing board, in addition to significant improvements in terms of productivity, safety and energy savings.

Among the main novelties are:

• 3HP motor for high performance and a significant reduction in ironing times for all types of pants;
• Last generation vaporization system that ensures a great reduction of consumption;
• Additional cold air at the end of the cycle for a stabilization of the fabric and an impeccable ironing;
• New pneumatics for precise control of pelvic extension and leg tension;
• Possibility to program the offsets for elastic fabrics so as not to have to change the size of the pants;
• Full optional version complete with ironing pockets, flap and steaming funds for an excellent result in every detail without the need for further finishing;

Macpi’s 321 trouser press topper is available in three versions 20, 25, 28, the first two designed for the packaging industry and the last for the world of professional laundry.
